What is a static pressure sensor?
A static pressure sensor is a device that measures the static pressure of a fluid or gas in a system. It is typically used to measure the pressure of a fluid at rest, as opposed to the dynamic pressure of a fluid in motion. A static pressure transmitter is a device that converts the static pressure measurement from the sensor into an electrical signal that can be transmitted and displayed on a control panel or other monitoring system.
Hydro Static Level Transmitter
The two-wire liquid level transmitter of hydro static level transmitter consists of a special gas conducting cable with built-in capillary hose, a compression connector and a probe. The probe structure of the hydro static level transmitter is a stainless steel cylinder core, with a diaphragm at the bottom, and is covered by a plastic shell with holes. The liquid level measurement of static pressure level gauge is actually the difference between the static pressure of the liquid on the measuring probe and the actual atmospheric pressure, and then the ceramic sensor (attached to the stainless steel film) and electronic components convert the differential pressure into a 4~20mA output signal.
Technical advantages of hydro static level transmitter
- The maximum range of hydro static level transmitter is 200m, stainless steel probe, ceramic diaphragm, rubber seal, long-term stability ≤ 0.15%/year.
- Its mechanical structure has high resistance to overload and corrosive media.
- High precision, long-term stable ceramic capacitance, and imported diffused silicon measuring unit.
- Sealed electronic modules and a double filter pressure compensation system can resist the influence of climate change on site.
- The electronic module can output a 4-20mA signal and has overvoltage protection at the same time.
- Select the integrated temperature sensor Pt100 to measure the material level and temperature simultaneously.
- The corresponding accessories can provide a complete measurement scheme.
Some common features of static pressure sensors and transmitters include:
1.Range: The range of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the range of pressures that it is able to measure or transmit. Some sensors and transmitters have a wide range, while others are designed to measure or transmit only a narrow range of pressures.
2.Accuracy: The accuracy of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the degree to which it is able to accurately measure or transmit pressure values. Higher accuracy sensors and transmitters are generally more expensive.
3.Resolution: The resolution of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the smallest increment of pressure that it is able to detect or transmit. Higher resolution sensors and transmitters are generally more expensive.
4.Response time: The response time of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the time it takes for the sensor or transmitter to respond to a change in pressure. Faster response times are generally more expensive.
5.Output: The output of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the type of signal that it produces. Common types of outputs include voltage, current, and frequency.
6.Compatibility: Static pressure sensors and transmitters may be compatible with different types of control systems or monitoring devices. It is important to ensure that the sensor or transmitter is compatible with the system or device it will be used with.
7.Temperature rating: The temperature rating of a static pressure sensor or transmitter refers to the range of temperatures that it can operate within. Some sensors and transmitters are designed to operate at high temperatures, while others are designed for use in lower temperature environments.
8.Materials: The materials used in the construction of a static pressure sensor or transmitter can affect its performance and durability. Sensors and transmitters may be made of materials such as stainless steel, brass, or plastic.
Applications of hydro static level transmitters
Hydro static level transmitter (liquid level gauge) is applicable to the liquid level measurement of various media in petrochemical, metallurgical, electric power, pharmaceutical, water supply, drainage, environmental protection, and other systems and industries. The exquisite structure, simple adjustment, and flexible installation mode provide convenience for users to use easily. 4~20mA, 0~5v, 0~10mA, and other standard signal output modes can be selected by users according to their needs.
